Good luck everyone!

Woooooooooooooooo

Yeah...

So nervous...

Good luck everyone! :)

My Status finally changed today, probably means I will hear as soon as tomorrow. Maybe a 2nd wave exceptace? Who knows, but I am getting excited again!

Your status just now changed??? Mine changed on 4/11. That could be good or bad. Just have to wait and see now.

Mine changed sometime between the end of last week and Sunday morning. But I applied to McIntire, and supposedly they don't send out decisions in the first wave.

The week of waiting has begun...

My status changed around the same time that Toph's did. I believe that the a-school also doesnt send out first-wave letters. I also want to say that last year, when i was rejected, my status did not change, AT ALL, until 5/01. But to say that a status change is good news is probably incorrect...I mean has anyone's status not changed??

do you guys think we'll get the letters early this week through mail, or will we have to wait until friday for the internet?

VA_Mike- If we get something in the mail first, I should be one of the first ones to find out (gulp), since I'm from C'Ville. I'll be sure to let you all know the minute I receive the phone call from my Mom. But if the mail is running late for the day, I won't hear until late in the afternoon because my Mom works and only comes home for lunch.

boooo...these are the longest days of my life...the good thing...classes end on Friday!!! yay...it could be a very good day either way!

i'm still waiting with you all! if 2 of my friends don't get in then i can throw my hopes of getting an apt. easily out the window!

Hey my status just changed to "We have recieved your tuition deposit...blah blah"...anyone elses that didn't get in first wave change?

No word today, but I guess it's kinda tough to get mail out on a Sunday. ;)

So what's the general consensus: letters will be mailed and received on or before Friday or we will find out online first?

I'm not sure. I had been leaning toward online, but now I think there is an outside chance that we will get the letters first.

I was excited about my other acceptances, but no where near as excited as I will be if I get an acceptance letter from UVA. Similarly, I wasn't crushed by my rejection (Cornell), but I will be ultra crushed by a rejection letter from UVA.

There was only one wave sent out (a small one). The rest will be sent out Friday (ALL OF THEM!). AND, we can check out status online.

Letters on Friday??? This is torture! I thought someone said in an earlier post that they would actually mail the letters before Friday, but you would be able to check online on Friday at 5:00 pm.

Yea i remember someone saying that too...something about dean roberts saying they would be going out between last friday and this friday.

When I called last week the woman who answered told me that they would be sending off the remaining letters and changing the online status at 5pm on Friday. Someone else on the board said that they recieved the same info...but why would they send letters @5pm on a Friday?

I think they're saying that in hopes that it keeps people from calling back because they get so many calls. Personally, I believe they'll probably mail out acceptances before Friday. Maybe they even sent them out yesterday. Yipes! What's the point in holding on to these decisions now that they've been made?

exactly...don't they realize a lot of us need to go through a process to exit out of our schools...if we do accept their offers!
