<p>Looks as if I have also missed the first wave. I cannot believe that I am this upset about this. I just don't understand why they can't just post the decision online when it comes instead of having to wait.</p>

<p>I just called admissions and was told that they are reading applications in arbitrary batches, which may explain why some exceptional applicants like Toph and FirstYear (and me!....just kidding) haven't posted their acceptances.</p>
<p>no matter what I have W&M backing me up, I love both school but I am closer to Williamsburg...</p>
<p>and BTW, their deposit is $150 instead of $250 ;) </p>

i made my mom call to see when they'd send out my letter and they said they'd send it out around the same time as they'd post it online: at the end of April. so maybe we'll hear online first, and it'll be earlier than may 1!</p>
<p>I never though that I would be so unhappy to see a $2,000 tax return in my mail... no answer from uva though.</p>
<p>koala, if you send that deposit in, but later find out that you got accepted to comm school, can you still go to comm school, or is that binding? sorry if this questions is stupid... but the way it is looking right now, i might as well send my deposit in, and do all the required things for WM, instead of running around crazy on the 1st, or 2nd, trying to send that deposit in, and get all the stuff done with WM Bus school</p>
<p>neboola, I'm thinking of doing the same thing for VaTech. I'm really not counting on getting in to UVa at all now, so may as well send in the deposit to Tech.</p>
