<p>Definitely bump up that ACT score, especially the reading section; shoot for at least a 28 in the reading section. </p>

<p>@AmbiD77 I’m president of my schools NHS, Key Club, and Beta Club, Founded Key Club, over 200 hrs of community service huge member of Model UN, and a two time state officer of a CTSO plus other honor societies and such!</p>
<p>If you are from one of the 80 VA high schools that the pres of UVa reached out to (as part of a campaign to increase socio-economic diversity), then you have a great chance even with those ACT sub-scores. Also, since there is such a huge difference between your W and UW GPA, one must assume that you have a ton of APs, honors, IBs?? </p>
