UVA EA 2025 Thread

mine looks the same

Does anyone with an X next to mid year grades have the ability to upload scores?

No, you don’t. Dean J on her instagram live last night mentioned that.

I saw that on college decision reaction videos on YouTube. A girl who got in had her checklist (like transcript, recs, etc.), and a girl who got denied did not (it only had the upload materials section under her update)

just to make sure…everyone has a student and university ID in their SIS account right?

Per the UVA Deferred FAQ, if you applied test optional and are deferred, you CANNOT change that status and upload scores after the fact.

So…if you applied test-optional, perhaps you never had the “upload testing here”?

I do

What is the SIS account?

This is what I’m thinking, i think the upload testing section is just dependent on your scoring situation.

There is no good all this speculating can do. Just wait it out.

Nope

What is the purpose of the SIS account? My account has no to-dos and stuff about classes, grades, etc.

Is the SIS account different from the portal?

Yes

Do international students come under OOS as well? I mean when it comes to reporting the admission stats because I didn’t see a separate category for international students.

My scores were reported in common app, so i believe thats why my uva report scores option is still there. did anyone else just have their scores in common app and now do not have the option to report scores?

I would imagine because state funding is tied to in-state enrollment. Not sure of the exact number, but Virginia state schools are required to have about 70% of their student body be Virginia residents
