UVa Early Action Applicants for the Class of 2016!

<p>took about 30 tries to get in without the error message, but my daughter was accepted! She is SO excited (me too)</p>

<p>Deferred with a 4.0 GPA and 2210 SAT. Kinda crushed. UVA is my dream school and I am really, really disappointed.
Well above, maybe there is still hope for me. It’s time for me to face hardships and obstacles in life. I will just update my mid-year report and keep waiting patiently.</p>

I guess it’s b.c i’m out of state…
66% of students HAVE to be in state starting this year for UVA, that’s why it was so hard for out of state kids to get in.</p>

I don’t understand! I was absolutely devastated. I have loads of extracurriculars. a 2200 sat. great recs. good gpa… i don’t understand.</p>

<p>ACCEPTED: OOS/Engineering; 2290 SAT, 35 ACT, 800/730/730 SAT Subject Tests, top 5%, National Merit Semi-Finalist. I’m soooo happy! I’m in shock that some of you didn’t get in when I see your stats.</p>

<p>ACCEPTED OOS/Arts and Sciences: 2350 SAT, 800/790 subject tests, NMSF. Congrats to all my future Cavs and good luck to all that are deferred or rejected.</p>

<p>Rejected In-State top 10% of class, 1800 SAT… not comprehend-able…was truly expecting to be at least deferred :(</p>
