Really shocked at my outcome. Thought worst case scenario would be deferred. Didn’t think a well rounded in stater with a background like mine would get rejected.
Pretty disappointed and confused with the rejection.

What I find ironic about the entire thing was that during my Harvard interview, the interviewer actually suggested for me to apply to University of Virginia because I wanted to be an International Relations major. Got deferred from Harvard but accepted to UVA…now that’s what I call fate.

I have a question, D applied EA but says now she doesn’t remember her login to SIS or never got one? If you’ve
been accepted did you also get an email or is logging in currently the only way to find out? I suppose letters will be forthcoming snail mail as well? Thank you.
The Log In Page says a snail mail package will be sent.
@StMikesDad The only way to find out is through the SIS page and if she would like to wait for the snail mail. The reason why she can’t log in is because of the dang password. Instead of creating one, you need to be constantly generating a new temporary password. All she has to do is look through her old emails to where she finds the original about the sis login which will tell her her username and little number thing. Then at the SIS login click forgot password, click not yet a student, and then it will direct you to a page to get a new temporary password. She can log in in no time.

UVa is need blind and meets 100% need. If you need aid, apply for aid

Do you mean Echols? If so, that is not a scholarship because you get no merit aid money with your offer. It’s just a program, essentially.
