My son accepted. In state. 3.86/4.37. IB diploma candidate. Good EC’s 1540 superscored SAT. Good essays IMO.
What is the link to the website that shows if we got in or not? I am logged into SIS but don’t know where admissions decisions are posted. ???
@WhiteClamSauce I received an email with a link to my portal. Also, does Echol’s Scholars come with the decision? or is that later?
I got accepted! Do we get something in the mail?

Does anyone know if Echols/Rodman Scholars were also announced?
@bucketDad I’m wondering the same thing. Does anyone know if we get notified if we don’t get in, or only if we are chosen for the scholar program?
Huge night for us tonight. My daughter admitted to both UNC and UVa.

I was accepted! How do I find out my major in the College of Arts and Sciences? Is there a specific area on the portal? I applied intending a business major.
Does anyone know the likelihood of getting in RD after being deferred OOS?! Congratulations to everyone that was admitted!

Now we wait to see if he is a candidate for the at large Jefferson Scholars pool. His school is not eligible to nominate so his only chance is at large.

Congrats to all who got accepted!
Congrats to all accepted! I just posted my son’s stats on the decisions thread. I think the main reason he was denied with a 36 ACT and strong EC’s and essays is that he is out of state AND attends a private school where half the students are from Virginia. He loved UVA when he visited, but we are grateful he got into his first choice school already. But I imagine his chances would have been stronger had he attended a public school in his state of residence.
Did anyone get financial aid award letters?
Does anyone know if they will send out physical letters/information in the mail?
