University of Virginia offers both Early Decision and Early Action for freshman admissions.
This year, the Early Decision (ED) deadline for UVA is November 1st.
All ED1 applications should receive an admissions decision by December 15.
The Early Action (EA) deadline for Fall 2022 admission at UVA is November 1.
All early action applicants should receive an admissions decision by January 31. Last year, UVA admitted 6,520 of the 25,038 applicants who applied Early Action. The acceptance rate was 26.04%. For more information visit the University of Virginia page on College Confidential.

In case you didn’t see it already, there was a Cavalier Daily article with the ED and EA applicant numbers (3442) (31,000+).
I bet ED decisions will come out 12/10 but possibly 12/3 or 12/17.

Up 17% for ED and 7% for EA for class ‘26
Last year they were up 35% ED and 15% EA for class ‘25
So 58% increase in ED applications and 23% increase in EA over 2 years
