Hello, all,

I am applying to both UVA and UMN for econ. I am a transfer student, and am an instate resident in Virginia. UMN has a better overall econ program, however UVA is instate and will be cheaper in both short and long run. Would it be worth my while to transfer to UMN, factoring in loans (federal and private), for the better econ program. Or should I just stay in state and transfer to UVA?

Also, if you know how generous UMN is with scholorships/grants/ the like, please let me know! I have a 3.5 overall. Thanks for your time!
