What do you guys think is better? I know it'll be kinda biased considering this is a UVA section but please tell me what u know.

it depends on what you want to do with the degree. engineering is becoming a more versatile degree and students are maximizing on its versatility.

Go to Tech: If your interests are truly to become an engineer. You are thinking about going to graduate school(in engineering) and want to be an engineer when you grow up. You'll get more hands on experience at Tech and will work with more equipment and more undergrad research/design team opportunities.
Go to UVA: If your interests are to get a techical degree and use it in the businessworld, go to UVA engineering. You'll get broader education and more consulting companies will come as its a softcore major for those who really want to go into business/consulting/ and ibanking(hard from uva engineering) or whatever else.

wow Vtech has more research oppurtunities?? thanks
