@snp2896 As far as I can see, yes. We’d need to find someone with the check and without the “accept admission” in the tab in order to consider it meaningful.
@jman4468 precisely. I just think they weed out all the OK applicants and come to a decision on them easily since, well, they’re not exactly competitive lol. I hate sounding like a pessimist, but I
just wanna prep myself for the worst haha.
@Edu_rms thats nothing, try 6+ years lol. I graduated high school in 2008, I’m 26 y/o now, but then again, I took lots of time off due to personal circumstances, finances and jobs; which I made sure to thoroughly emphasis in in my essay. Honestly, with my stats I was SHOCKED I was waitlisted the first time around. And who knows, I might be shocked this time again lol.

@UVAfan23 Haha true. I graduated high school in June of 2015 and will be getting my third associates this summer and I am only 19! Hopefully they ignore my bad SAT scores and look at everything i’ve done!
@Edu_rms omg! Well, congrats! I fortunately don’t have to submit any SAT scores, just AP scores, which thank God were all 4’s and 5’s. I feel like UVA is one of the few schools that doesn’t put a lot of weight on the SAT score. I’ve always heard UVA is big on the essays and ECC’s though.
@UVAfan23 Looked back and found that the check just means your app was viewed at least once. Not sure what drew me and others to that conclusion, but that was what we found out.
Btw, last year I got my check literally days before decisions (27th of April), so timing means nothing (seriously).

By the way guys, I read in the past forums there’s a checklist on the side of myUVA but I don’t see the checklist boxes…?
@snp2896 are you sure? log on to your myUVA account, and on the far right should be something that says “my checklist” and 4 check boxes under that: myUVa, App, high school transcript, and testing.

wait. Myuva and SIS are different right? Because if they’re the same, on the left corner of SIS it says “myuva” and “applicant”
If they’re different, I don’t remember making an ID and password for myUVA. Would I have to make one?
