@UVAfan23 I made one now! haha thanks!
And I see all the boxes checked and your myUVA page looks the same as mine
@snp2896 oh okay cool. I was starting to worry there for a sec lol. People on last years thread said that on their myUVA page, maybe a day or two before decisions came out, under the check list popped a box that said “Accept offer of admission” and pretty much any who had that was accepted. We’ll see if thats the same this year.
@UVAfan23 I literally read over those just now before I read your comment 0.0
@snp2896 haha! Nice! Guess the universe and it’s prospective UVA students are in sync lmao
I stayed up till 3 am last night looking at old forums, ugh lol
Sounds like me a few weeks ago :))
Where is the accept admission tab located? I can’t seem to find it on neither SIS nor myuva. I have weak stats so I am not too confident about getting in so I might be rejected I may be the one without the tab. Anyone mind sharing a screen shot of your page?
@shiica95 I’m sure you have it, I think we ruled out that it could be something everyone has regardless of the decision. You sure you’re looking in the correct place? It’s the literal tab on your browser, when you click “view decision” it will redirect you to the admission decision page that says decisions aren’t out till May 1st, and on that page at the top of the tab it should say “accept admission”…let me know if you find it.
@shiica95 first, do you have the green check on SIS? if so, then if you click “view decision” it will say “decision not available, please check back May 1st” or something along those lines. But if you look at the tab it says “accept decision”. I would show you a picture, but sadly Im not technology smart enough to know how to do that haha but hope that helped a little!
ohhhh got it! hahaha I thought it is a tab on the page itself. It is just what the browser tab is called, correct?
I think I asked this before, but everyone can access UVaCollab and view a weird little @Virginia.EDU email connected to their username?
@shiica95 yes! Btw if you don’t mind me asking, what are your stats?
What are the odds of everyone having the same things and it’s simply because we have all been admitted…lol
@UVAfan23 yep I see mine. And let’s hope so that’d be awesome.
I swear I’m getting too anxious these days lol I have a question that I have yet to be able to find a definite answer for. So from what I understand, 200 lvl foreign language is a requirement… but is it a requirement to get into the school or a requirement to get your degree? I am also a bit nervous because my GPA is only 3.47 and my SAT score is 1700 (old grading scale). I never thought I’d need SAT because I was so sure I was going to a community college straight out of HS so I didn’t prepare for it. Never knew it could haunt me back haha
Well, my major is chem. I changed my major a lot and also a year behind (been at a community college for 3 years now… full time student every semester so I have LOTS of credits… I took useless classes- all science though- instead of taking the classes needed for graduation lol)
My stats: I’m transferring from NVCC.
gpa as of now is 3.47 I believe. I am not in honors nor am i involved at my CC (no extracurriculars besides working 2 part time jobs). SAT is 1700 (out of 2400).
HS gpa was 3.65. took 2 AP in HS but never got a 3 or higher so I did not send any of the scores.
@shiica95 Ive been super anxious since March 1st haha. And I’m almost positive the 200lvl foreign language requirement is for those who wants the degree. If you took it while in cc then it would be checked off so you wouldn’t have to take it at the university. Also your stats aren’t bad at all. In some cases you’re actually in a better stand than me haha my SAT score was horrific
@snp2896 I literally cannot imagine waiting for 2 and a half more weeks!! I’m dying on the inside lol
mind if I ask what your score is? And why you didn’t retake it for a better score?
I know for me I didn’t bother with SAT… only took it because I felt left out since all of my friends are taking it (lol I know I’m such a nerd) and I wanted to know how well my english has improved (migrated to the US in 7th grade so I went through ESOL classes and all), plus I am terrible at big test (such as AP… did well in class but scored 2 on all of them.)
@shiica95 my sat score was about 1200. Out of 2400 lol I took it when I was a dumb junior in high school who didn’t study at all. I didn’t retake it because I knew I wasn’t going to get a much higher score. Also I didn’t have time. And yes the waif is killing me also haha
@snp2896 ohhh we all have those moments! haha
