@SamoyedScience that is very interesting. What’s the letter of your last name? Mine starts with P.
My grades and GPA aren’t amazing amazing so I bet my file was easy to put among the reject pile lol. Who knows.

@SamoyedScience so DeanJ just tweeted me back on Twitter and I asked her about the “View Decision” meaning and she said that it simply means we have received all materials and are reading your file. Not that a decision has been final. Follow the link if you wanna read it more in depth.

Guys when I click the view decision it takes me to the page, but I don’t have accept my admissions tab. I have received emails from them about my financial aid and high school transcripts, which I submitted. I’m not sure what all that means, but good luck to everyone.
@Bmj2510 Are you looking at the actual browser tab, or the top of the SIS page where it says “myUVA” and “applicant”
Anyone submitted the application on Feb 29th or March 1st also hasn’t got the check? (I haven’t and I’m little worried. If they’ve reviewed app and made decisions for many applicants, would that mean there would be fewer spots available?)
@Bmj2510 I’m sure you have it. It’s the literal tab on the top of the browser. It’s not an actual tab on the view decision page. Hope that made sense
I think everyone gets this mixed up. I can see how though. We’ve had like 2-3 people saying they don’t see “accept admission” tab but then they come back saying they do haha.
@UVAfan23 Meant to post this a day or two ago when I saw people (you, I thought?) talking about it, but if anyone is curious about places to live on or off grounds they can direct any questions toward me. I ended up doing that a ton last year for that thread so figured I might as well again if anyone is curious.
Thank you @lowrancc and @UVAfan23 I was so confused. The tab itself says Accept Admission. I thought there was a tab on the page that said Accept Admission.
@cathflies I submitted my application around that time and I have the green check. Do you have everything turned in? It could mean they just haven’t gotten to your application yet.
@LaVolpe Where’s the best on-grounds housing option for transfer students?
I submitted my app on March 1st at 11:52 pm. And recieved the check a couple days ago. The to do’s came a day later @cathflies
@cathflies what are your stats
Does everybody have on their SIS account the help box on the left that says
“Help
SIS Help
How to Apply for Financial Aid
University ID Lookup”
I think I got that after my checkbox came up, since I didn’t apply for financial aid.
Yea I have that @collegeman8
@collegeman8: I have it. Can’t remember if I had it from the start though (and if it matters I submitted my CSS/aid really really late)
@LaVolpe: YES! I think @snp2896 and I were talking about on grounds housing. Not sure lol. I have a friend at UVA that lives in Bice and its close to central grounds. I would love to live there. How’s Lambeth?
@UVAfan23 I don’t think we had that convo but I would sure love to hear about it ! LOLOL
@snp2896 I asked you something about the school though. Ugh. Sorry, I’m half asleep lmao. Where would you wanna live, ideally?
Lol oh maybe you did I forgot hahaha and ideally I want to live in an apartment but on campus would be a good place to start making friends what about you?
I’ve always (since 2009) heard of GrandMarc apartments that are off campus but not far away from grounds. They looked nice back then. Don’t know about now. Lol. I wanna live on-grounds. Would be easier to make friends.
@UVAfan23 I agree… but I also hear that living on grounds is more expensive too
