I just tried it right now, I really have no idea why I didn’t last week. I got the acceptance letter, here’s a screenshot:
See in his URL it has @LaVolpe 's number and if you change that number to any random number it has an acceptance letter! Where are you guys getting this URL from
@Edu_rms the number doesnt matter. The reason you see an acceptance is because you got in. I can change the bumber to anything and I get a waitlist message. Others get a rejection letter

i am so confused. what link are you guys using to change the number from 1 to 2?? i only have DEFAULT at the end of my link when i click “view decision” I’ve have my check mark since the end of March

but isn’t that link for someone else specifically? how would that link know it’s ME clicking it to provide my individual decision? wouldn’t it just be the same for everyone with that link? i’m really confused. I got Congratulations when i changed the 1 to 2 but i don’t understand how it would have any idea that it is me clicking the link

I was given it by @UVAfan23 and when he clicked on it it gave him a different letter than me. Maybe you’re right but that’s what shows up on mine
then again, when i try clicking the link when i’m logged out of my SIS it wont show anything. but when i log into my sis and then click the link and change the number i get the acceptance. weird, not sure if i trust this. i want to know where this link came from to begin with

@SeabornSam Are you applying to A&S? A couple of us are applying to McIntire and we still have green dots. I believe this is because we are interviewing this week and they haven’t made any decisions just yet (at least, I think).
By the way, having gone over every detail and information provided by the team of Sherlocks in the thread, I am inclined to believe that the loophole found is correct. It just makes sense. I don’t have any decision because my application is still under review, we are all getting different results. This makes too much sense to be incorrect.
Regardless, this should probably get patched soon. Someone copied in Dean J, I would be surprised if this is still correct going forward.
I got the link from @LaVolpe originally. I have no idea how he was able to get that specific link. I checked the code on my SIS page and couldn’t find the link. But I’m 100% sure these are our final decisions, not trying to freak anyone out, but pretty sure it’s accurate. Congrats to everyone with acceptance messages 
i’m not sure if i trust a link when i don’t know how it was made or where it came from. of course i want to believe it because it was an acceptance but i dont want to give my hopes up
@hooville17 As entertaining as it would be to post a jillion pictures explaining this to people, I’ve made plenty of posts explaining it already and I don’t care for incredulity.
The link is the source of the data that appears on your admission page. So, go straight to said source and you can see the data tied to your account. It’s extremely simple.
