@UVAfan23 Don’t lose hope. I got an acceptance letter but when I went to page source it had an encryption with deferred. You never know!
@Edu_rms What…?
There’s no deferral for transfer admissions. There’s also no “encryption”.
@sam998 you’re welcome? Lol.
@Edu_rms hmm that’s interesting. But I’m sure I’m rejected. There’s so much concrete evidence. It all makes sense. Where did u see the encryption? I was sort of expecting this so its okay. I’m glad I did I applied Bc I made some friends along the process. I think next year will be my year
It is unethical trying to get results through hacking. Plus, it will ruin the excitement on decision day! See everyone May1 !
@edu_rms If you think right clicking on a page is hacking, then I have no words.
Also can’t even see a small ethical dilemma in getting a decision that has already been made either.
But whatever.
Yeah literally the exact same thing happened to me man.
@IdkIdkHelp What did? You gotta tag people in your comments or they’ll probably never see it lol
@ericashay Yeah literally the exact same thing happened to me man. (The green dot)
@ericashay and the transcripts
@IdkIdkHelp yeah it was a huge pain in the butt. My community college basically lost my transcript release form so I had to get my official transcript myself and pay to have it shipped overnight. Oh well though, could’ve been worse. I’m hoping that’s the reason why I still have a green dot.
@ericashay They told me it wouldnt hurt my application but idk. Hopefully all of this works out. I just got into University of Texas as an out of state student so that definitely gave me a little too much confidence haha.
@IdkIdkHelp don’t worry, it shouldn’t influence anything. Congrats dude! That’s awesome. Best of luck with UVA admissions!
Waitlist according to this
i wonder if they’re going to come out with a statement about all of this
Highly highly doubt it. It’s kind of like when an artists’ album leaks, they won’t share their thoughts or explanations of how it got “leaked”, or in this case cracked/hacked. They will keep that information as disclosed as possible, so by next year maybe that bug will be fixed and no one will be able to view their decisions early. Hope that was a good enough analogy lol.
@LaVolpe where did you find your 7 digit ID number on SIS? i’m looking for mine now, just curious
@LaVolpe just kidding, i found mine
.
@hooville17 Where did you find yours?
@CudleWudles UVA shouldve emailed it to you
