@UVAfan23 I applied to UVA, W&M, Georgetown, and ODU. I think W&M will release sometime before next Friday as last year they were released before May 1st. I agree!! I just want to get this decisions back, get through finals, and finally enjoy a stress free summer!!! Haha

@“Dean J” can you confirm or deny whether decisions will be released on Friday, April 29?
I highly doubt that officially we are going to hear anything other than May 1st.
@“Dean J” has put out tons of posts on her blog and Twitter saying how decision releases are really played by ear. If they get released early thats up to the Dean of Admissions, and I’m sure that in that case that the Transfer Blog and Dean J’s Twitter will be updated as soon as the Dean gives the go-ahead.

@SamoyedScience I got wait listed to W&M and honestly it just ruined all my confidence in having a chance in getting into UVA 
I’m starting to think decisions will be out on Friday. They never send out decisions on the weekend. It really could be any day within the next week as 2 years ago they were released on April 26th!

@Edu_rms sorry don’t mean to be nosey but didn’t you get accepted to UVA when we all saw those supposedly real UVA decisions last week? Don’t worry though, at least you didn’t get rejected

@Edu_rms I’m sorry to hear that But really W&M and UVA have different admissions committees and different applicant pools (especially for transfers), so I wouldn’t it let it get to you too much. Also, you got wait listed, not rejected; they still saw academic potential in you.

Most places wait list you because they want to see your final grades! That is what UVA does
Accepted in WM but also I heard WM is pickier than UVA so keep your head high about UVA’s decisions!!
@LaVolpe I got the check recently and my tab also says accept admission, however, UVA is a big reach for me; I don’t think I’ll be getting in. Does that mean everyone gets this “accept admission” tab?
@Edu_rms yep! Applied to W&M and got rejected. And probably from UVA as well. But it’s okay, I had already mentally prepared myself for this. My advisor told me Next year I will have a better shot but I wanted to apply anyways. And I’m glad I did. I’ve met cool new people and know a lot of what I expect next year from the application process.

@kcasey43 yeah everyone has the accept admission so it’s been ruled out. It means nothing unfortunately ugh. UVA is a massive reach for me too.
