@zct0018 Lol we are like long lost twins. I’m 20 years old(about to turn 21), had a 2.9 in HS and just took the SAT for the first time last year and got a 1500. I retook and got a little over a 1700 and decided that test is evil! I was not going to spend another Saturday in a class room full of 16 years olds again hahah. I actually came really close for GAA for UVA i’m just missing Spanish 4. we totally got this!!
@DannyCareyisGod haha nice to know someone who is alike! I felt so out of place taking it! There was some kids who couldn’t even drive yet haha. Another thing I hate how language is part of the GAA. Many schools are limited in teachers for that discipline. The only thing after this semester I will be missing is my language requirement. My GPA will go down to a 3.83 after I get a B in astronomy. But I see both of us getting accepted and not wait listed Friday! Or Sunday lol
@zct0018 Are you majoring in astronomy too??? Also I took off work Friday so i hope they release decisions then!

I can totally relate to feeling out of place at the SATs. Although I doubt anyone noticed/cared, I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb.

I hope we all get in! I love how UVA is not all about numbers, and you can definitely sell yourself through essays. Seriously though… UVA is so beautiful… I cannot believe we find out in 5!!! days!!! (hopefully)

talking about how anxious you are doesn’t help! Gotta look toward the stuff we can actually take action on (clubs, classes, housing, sports, places to eat in cville, other stuff that we should know about UVA)
If I were to get accepted, I would want to live in the Uncommon apartment complex (I already accepted that everything is expensive, so I might as well pick something near the medical buildings). I would consider a sorority and other nursing clubs. I cannot wait to attend all of the football, basketball, and baseball games. I went to this past senior night basketball game and it was amazing. For food: Of course you have to try Bodos bagels. The corner has this awesome dumpling place, and downtown has a lot of good restaurants. I’m excited to go to The Foxfield Races and hiking/apple picking. (aka the things my community does not offer)…
