@backinthehunt Do you believe that the link lavolpe put up is accurate? Have you applied anywhere else? I didn’t accept any other college request for admission because I want UVA so bad. Just there is this gut feeling that I wouln’t get in that scares the crap out of me!
@Edu_rms I thought Johns Hopkins was releasing decisions on the portal in a couple of weeks?
I got mine today. But I applied as a regular not a transfer because like only of my classes transfer for my major! So I wouldn’t be considered a transfer there.
Some people are getting way too cocky about decisions lol
@Edu_rms the evidence is overwhelmingly convincing that his link was right. The fact that different people got different things alone is pretty convincing. Sure, it feels good to stand up to lavolpes test, but I’m not so gullible as to convince myself that I got in based on a process a stranger on the Internet figured out. Not saying he’s wrong, but I personally have no clue how he did it/I don’t understand the CS mechanics…therefore I take the lavolpes glitch with a grain of salt.
Applied to UMiami as well, but idk if I’d go there. It’s expensive. I’m pretty set on going to a VA school since I’m in state. But we will see. I already got wait listed from W&M (and I honestly wouldn’t go there unless it was my only choice), so to go to a VA school Id already have to wait til Jan. Been working for 2 years to get into UVA; really hard to believe I’ll know in a few days.

@backinthehunt I don’t think anybody here believes that they’re guaranteed to get in just because of a few speculations. In my specific case, I knew I submitted everything correctly but so close to the decision release they’re clearly asking for specific documents. Never for a second would I believe I actually got in because of a link or stuff of my to-do list, but I was definitely surprised and curious as to why now.
@intergrity23 Ya. Like it was shocking when I had the “FA Application Certification” on my to-do list was sooo random and out of the 7 colleges I have applied and gotten into no one asked for that. I do not want to get my hopes up because usually I have really bad luck. Ugh a couple days left

@uctransfer2016 I think it’s the fear of not getting in that is holding back. How do I tell my family and pick my self from it. I’ve litteraly talked about it for 5 years . Whatever my result is it is going to be a life changer for sure

I feel like I’m the oldest haha. I just turned 26. I remember applying to UVA in 2009 and being waitlisted and here I am still aiming for my dream school. Is this pathetic? bleeeh

@UVAfan23 Do not feel old. My mom wasn’t able to go to school when she was younger and started at 36! Now she is 42 and has a Masters from Mary Washington!
