This page “page=UVADDECN_1&” is, PERHAPS, the page that either is acceptance or just the page that says admissions are not available.
HOWEVER, changing the value to page=UVADDECN_2& gives the declination message:
The Committee on Admission has examined your application and carefully considered your academic, personal, and extracurricular credentials. We are sorry to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission for the fall 2016 transfer class. This was a particularly difficult year for our admission committee given that the quality of the applicant pool was exceptional, and admission was extremely competitive. We work very hard to ensure a fair and consistent review of all students who apply for admission. Our process is holistic, meaning that we consider many factors when evaluating each student. Great care and attention to detail is given to each student who applies to the University. Please know that these decisions are never easy, and we recognize and respect your accomplishments and talents. We appreciate your interest in the University of Virginia and wish you the best as you finalize your college plans.
HOWEVER (again), no other values yield results. There is no 3,4, etc. Only 1 and 2.
EDIT: Even though I am able to force this message to appear, my ID (we all have one) is still tied to UVADDECN_1. Again, I cannot say what this means until someone without the Accept Admission thing sends me a message and I tell them how to check their own code.
However, it does mean that the page (meaning the decision page) is tethered directly to individual ID’s.
@LaVolpe So since I’m not a computer whiz lol, are you basically saying that if the code “UVAADDECN_1” is linked to a possible acceptance? and if you have ‘2’ it is a decline letter? I have the 1 and pretty much everything else you posted in your last post.
If it’s any consolation, my friend who applied for spring 2016 admission had the “Accept Admission” tab and she was accepted to UVA; but who knows :-/
@LaVolpe I feel like all decisions haven’t been made. I received the check mark like maybe 3.5 weeks after I turned in all my materials. But I just submitted my mid-term grades so idk if decisions could be changed, which would lead me to believe it’s all just a default setting what we are viewing. Who knows!
How did you change it to view the decline letter? I couldn’t manage to do that. I tried to edit the code and changed it but it didn’t appear.

Folks, we don’t read files in the SIS system. Like most paperless schools, we have a separate system for reading and making decisions. At the end, the decisions get loaded into SIS and turned on.
We aren’t done. It’s only been a month since the deadline and we have a lot of reading to do. Hang in there.
@LaVolpe oh okay. I was hoping you’d have remembered from last year lol.
Also, I did what you told me to do with the link and changed it to 2 and showed the decline letter, but the tab still said “Accept Admission” so I’m gonna assume it’s nothing significant
I know that UVa says decisions come out on May 1, but when do they usually come out? I heard that they typically come out the Friday before May 1. Does anyone have an educated guess?
What time of day do decisions come out? 4 PM? 5 PM?
Do we get an e-mail telling us decisions are available, or should we just keep checking SIS?
Hey , so looking at past discussions it seems they come out exactly May 1st at 5pm. It is stressful making decions and they have to read thousands of applications so it is difficult to get it out earlier I can imagine. Hang in there! I’m so nervous it’s ridiculous! (: @indigoiguana
