How do you tell if you have the decline 1 or 2? I do not see it on the web address.
the past 9 years decisions have come out the Friday before May 1st. I’m assuming they do this so that they don’t have to answer the phone on the weekend that would be ringing off the hook. This year May 1st is on a Sunday so I’m hoping they come out on Friday 29th!

And as of today, April 11th I still have a green dot next to my name, no check mark yet.
My stats? Let’s see.
I had a 3.0 in hs (yea not that great)
3.8 or higher when I graduate with my associates from TCC
No clubs or organizations although i was invited multiple times to join phi theta kappa. However I did do a lot of church leadership activities (ex: praise team. Translator. Summer tutor)
Did some basketball in hs but I don’t think that matters
SATs weren’t that great; took it once. 1240 ish
Good essays.
Recommendation- 1- strong
Altogether by the time I graduate I will have 66 credits. About 50 or more that’s transferable. I would’ve gotten under the GAA but I didn’t fulfill the language requirement.

@jmann132 It’s not in the url you can see, it’s in the code of the webpage. If you click on “view decision” on your SIS page and the tab at the top says something other than “Accept Admission” let me know.
@NjTransfer2016 We have similar stats (I am also applying to McIntire), I think you have a solid chance! Don’t mind the green circle, I think we are going to get our check mark pretty late since we are applying to McInitre and not A&S. By the way, did you receive an e-mail last week confirming that they were review our application? (This strictly applied to McIntire)
My stats: Nothing spectacular lol.
This is my 2nd time applying. I was waitlisted back in 2009, took lots of time off and going on and off with school at NVCC as well. I was shocked I got waitlisted with my stats the first time around, but I guess they saw something in me. Keep in mind, I was applying to the School of Nursing back then.
HS GPA: 1.7 (2.7 senior year) Ouch!
Sub Par SATS: can’t recall the score as I don’t have to submit them anymore.
Great recommendations from former counselor, and a current supervisor at my job, which is substituting elementary schools around in the county.
College GPA: 3.4 UW.
Essays: My shining moment. Not gonna lie, it took me a month and a half to write and revise it by lots of people, including a cousin who’s a law student at W&M.
Hooks: URM, Hispanic, First generation, male? (don’t think that counts much but seeing as I applied for CAS elementary education major maybe it helps at minimalist?) have a couple of AP’s from high school that helped. And I definitely have my language requirement out of the way since I completed it with AP Spanish in high school.
Haven’t been able to do extremely stellar work, but I’m hoping a chance at UVA will help me satisfy that yearning. Also my midterm grades were A’s and B’s, which I did send as well. Hoping to earn a better GPA at the end of the semester.

Also, is everyone able to look up their UVA University ID?
It may or may not mean anything, just curious. I was reading old threads till 3 AM last night (crazy, I know) and noticed that people who saw these signs got accepted…? And there was also talk about people having To-Dos under their financial aid tab in SIS. In this another indicator of acceptance?

@UVAfan23 I also have a UVAcollab email. I do not see an ID number though.
@UVAfan23 I could do that last year, so assuming it means nothing. Can look up my UVA ID, but we all get one.
Can’t remember about to-do’s specifically but I remember a lot of talk about it. Think it ended up being nothing.
@jman4468 to look up your U ID you just need your SIS ID number, which should have been in your first email from SIS providing your login info, just click on University ID on your SIS, plug in your info and it should show up.
@LaVolpe I’m really starting to think every single applicant gets these ‘fake’ @Virginia.EDU emails also, kinda sucks, was hoping it foreshadowed an acceptance lol. Bleh. Oh well.

ohh @UVAfan23 i see the email also…however, since i still have the green circle i do not see the “to do list-financial aid”
I have accept admission but U.V.A email address is set to none
@UVAfan23 They’re not fake, you just don’t get access until you’re accepted. It’s just automated so somebody doesn’t have to do the email creation by hand.

@snp2896 Google uvacollab and click on the link then log in, you should have an email and all that jazz.
