<p>For my essay about a favorite word, can it be a poem instead? And if so, does it have to be 250 words, or can it be less. Can it also be a mix of the two, as in half poem, half essay?</p>
<p>It can be a poem. I know ppl who have done it. Not sure how a poem/essay mix would be received.</p>
<p>As vistany said, poems are fine; just stick to one or the other. 250 words is not enough space to write great essays on both. And remember, they ask you for an essay, not essays in the plural.</p>
<p>i chose a simple word. but my reason for likely it is more of a reason for not liking it, i suppose the question desires more of a personal response than a cookie-cutter answer</p>
