UVA gay friendly or not?

<p>So it is official, I will be going to UVA this fall! I am just slightly concerned because I have heard mixed reviews on just how gay-friendly the school is. I am planning to be completely open in college, but I am also not the overly flamboyant and "gay pride" loving type of person either. I am just hoping to start dating in college, and was wondering how difficult it would be to find other gay guys or if I would somehow be ostracized by others for being gay. Any experiences on this would be appreciated!</p>

<p>From a heterosexual male’s POV the University community is pretty accepting. Couple of people who aren’t accepting but they’re in the minority imo. I can’t think of how you would find potential partners outside of joining a club meant for the gay community, but who knows. I’m still trying to figure out the my dating situation after all haha. Anyway, as the saying goes, love happens when you least expect it, right?</p>
