UVA: In-state Tuition Question

Hey folks,

I submitted my application to UVA last month, and I have a question about in-state status since I know it plays a huge role there. My parents moved/began working in VA in late September, which will likely put me one month shy of the normal 12 month window for in-state privileges. I applied for it anyway, is there any history of UVA (or any other schools for that matter) making exceptions about this? Thanks.

Also, here's my stats:

Current university: George Washington U
GPA: 3.53
ECs: Honors Program, ROTC, worked on the Hill, numerous clubs

From what I have seen on this site, it seems like I'm competitive with in-state and I'm not competitive without. If anyone cares to comment on that as well I would appreciate it!

My guess is if you're instate, you're instate. If you're not, you're not. You're not instate.
