<p>Hi, I am a 2018er, and I applied to the EA program of University of Virginia. I got its interview invitation yesterday via email, which invited me to have a skype interview with a student ambassador.</p>
<p>Did anyone who also applied for UVa receive the same email? Last year, the interview of UVa was conducted thru telephone and was uninformed. Why does it change the way of its interview??</p>

<p>Interviews are conducted by some of our international students.</p>

<p>I believe interviews are are only of International students. If you are not an International applicant, then you shouldn’t be concerned if you did not receive an interview invitation.</p>
<p>I am speculating here, but part of the purpose of those interviews may be to evaluate the applicants’ spoken English abilities.</p>
