I just got my acceptance to UVa, and I realized that I might get a C, and MAYBE a D+ in APES for 3rd quarter. All my other grades are A's, except for a B in AP Calculus. I'm taking 5 AP's. Do you think UVa will revoke my acceptance? I think my final grade for APES will be around a B/B+ based on my quarter grades. HELP?!

You should assume that a D will be bad although not necessarily fatal. One C in the mix likely won’t do damage. Note, grades that count are those at end of each semester (not just end of year and not quarter grades) so your quarter grade determines nothing.

I don’t remember my S having to submit his quarter grades, just the end-of-semester ones. Senioritis hit him big time in March and he finished up with straight Bs, well below his usual performance. That was apparently acceptable to UVA. So use the next few weeks to bring up that D; if you have a mix of As, Bs, and a C, you’ll probably be OK.
