Hooks:
My dad graduated from UVA, so I have legacy.

Anything you could add (advice, thoughts, etc) would be great. Thank you!

Not gonna happen with a 1700 get it up to a 2100 and then maybe

Yeah, I know that’s clearly my main weakness…I’ve only taken it once though and that was during sophomore year. I had heard that adding a zero to your PSAT score is a good indicator of how you’ll do on the SAT, and that was true for my 10th grade PSAT and SAT scores. My PSAT score this year with a zero added on is almost 2000, so I haven’t given up hope yet haha.

I’m just really hoping I can do better than 1700…hopefully it’s possible to bring my score up that much

The ECs are kinda weak too.

bump …

bump !T%@^Y&

The chance is very slim unless you score at least 2000 for the SAT.

Your SAT II, AP exam scores, creative personal essay, great recommendations come after that.

bump . . . . .

Your ECs are pretty plain… club member, captain of this and that team, and tutor are all pretty worked over activities. And your SAT is obviously too low. You don’t appear to have any passion, except maybe history due to one of your awards but you aren’t in any AP history classes so never mind…

If you raise your SAT and get very high SAT IIs, I’d still say your chances are pretty slim, even with your legacy hook.
