Uva or Umd for Aerospace Engineering

Hello. I am currently a high school senior deciding which college to attend next year. I got into a few schools but I am pretty sure I have narrowed it down to a few. Right now I am deciding between Uva and Umd. For Uva I would only be paying about $15,000. For Umd I would be in the Honors college in the Gemstone program. I would also possibly be in Flexus. However, I would be paying about $47,000. My ultimate goal is to work for a company like NASA. I am just wondering which college has a better Aerospace program and which considering each price would be worth it more in the long run. Thoughts???

Can your parents afford the extra cost?

UMD is a great school but the price gap is significant.

UMD does have a research relationship with NASA, per the following link. The current contract will run until 2022 and can be extended for another 5 years after that.
