UVA or UMD?

<p>So I've been fortunate enough to have been accepted into both University of Maryland, College Park, and University of Virginia - I've been accepted as an undecided Engineering major in both. Where should I go? Parents are currently slightly in favor of College Park; it's about half as expensive (~$20K vs ~40K). I attend high school in Baltimore, so I get a cheap rate for Maryland.</p>

I believe both UMD and UVA have excellent engineering programs… Must be difficult for you to choose just ONE of them :smiley:
I was also having a difficult time choosing between VT and UVa, but I decided on UVa engineering because UVa had better financial aid package for me.</p>
