<p>Boy, I thought you guys would get it. It was a joke. My post was meant to highlight exactly what you say-UVa takes an holsitic approach to admissions and is not all about needing to have 1400+ SAT's to succeed in life. My kid happens to have that but in no way does it make him better than anybody else.</p>

<p>Just remember to put in some sort of clue that you were joking next time. :)There was nothing in your post indicating that you were joking and so, I assumed you were speaking truthfully. The sad thing is, there are people out there who do believe nonsense like that.</p>
