UVA Pre-med Schedule?

Hi, I'm going to be an entering freshman at UVA hoping to go to med school afterwards. I was wondering if I could get some help about my schedule. I've searched through CC and the UVA threads and all I could find were posts to tell me to come here and post.

I have to sign up for classes soon and I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Does this schedule seem like it would be a good route to go? I've spaced my pre-med classes out so I can focus on those and my other area requirements instead of just my pre-med classes all together. I'm planning on majoring in biology. Might double major in history or religious studies.

First year:
Bio w/ Bio Lab
Calculus I and II

Second year:
Chemistry w/ Lab
English

Summer after second year:
Organic Chemistry @ UVA or another school. (Would it look bad if I took at it another school? It's in the summer and the other school is near my house so it would be easier for me to take it there as I wouldn't have to stay at UVA and pay for summer housing and and other things. If it looks bad, I would change O-chem to UVA summer.)

Third year:
Physics w/ Lab

Fourth year:
What I have left for my majors/requirements.

If I could get any advice, or changes to my schedule and why, that would be great. Any tips on these classes would be great too.

and click on the Biology Major Planning Sheet, you’ll get a suggested schedule for BAs in Bio. It looks like you may have to shift Chem to freshman year.
