If someone were to log on and not see it I’d start to think it was significant but so far everyone here has it. Impossible to tell if that’s because we all got in or the message goes to everyone. The message is definitely for accepted students, but like I said it looks out of place and could easily be chalked up to just a glitch (a cruel, cruel glitch).

@purposefulwander

I got an email in late January titled “Thank you for your application to U.Va.” In that email is a link to your “myUVA”. This is where some people has said that they have a message.

dh1234 said he didn’t see it though

He did once he logged onto myuva, he was looking at sis

No I saw it, I was in SIS at first

I’m a girl

oh sorry haha

I’M GOING TO GO CRAZY!

If anything, this at least gives me hope decisions will be released tomorrow. UVa is smart enough to not drop the ball well before they mean to release. My only guess (assuming this is a significant thing) would be they finished decisions today and were uploading these messages overnight and SIS ones tomorrow until 5:30 pm.

sorry my mistake dh1234

If I were to call admissions tomorrow morning, do you think they’d answer the question? “Hey, there’s a message on myUVa saying “congrats you’re in!” Is this real or are you going to crush my soul?”

Its okay hahaha

Now I’m just hoping it’s significant and that we all got in! (:

So it is for sure that the decisions will be released tomorrow?

No. But a lot of us are expecting it to be tomorrow.

As bad as it sounds, I wish somebody would log on and not see it. I would honestly be so crushed if I end up getting rejected now. I’ve been preparing for a rejection for months but this little revelation just made the hope in me grow tenfold.

Does everyone have a “Finances” tab on their SIS page?

I do

yeah

Does UVA generally give money to people whose parents make a decent amount?

Yes to the finances tab, but I think it’s always been there. No financial aid info or award on there either.
