yes but as momof3 correctly points out, the midpoint starts moving up due to the self selecting nature of TO. And my earlier point that i would expect the acceptance rate of those at 25th percentile to still exceed TO acceptance rate - recognizing the “holistic” approach and lesser importance of scores in the review, i guarantee there is still a correlation between score level (or no scores) and acceptance rate
Since, based on its CDS, UVA considers standardized scoring in its evaluation of applicants, this should not be surprising.
responding to above post - not surprising only because there’s usually a correlation btw test scores and gpa - as Dean points out test scores alone tell very little…
My daughter did not submit scores. She was admitted OOS and as a Echols
scholar.
admissions officer came to my school and said that they were very number heavy (that they really look at the numbers, SAT score/gpa/etc. so i would say if its 1460 or above definitely put it in

You appear to be an international student taking a gap year? We haven’t traveled internationally for school visits since before the pandemic.
