UVa Status???

Nah, they'd have to accept and review credits after decisions. I ran the VISTAA what-if degree options to get a report... Still waiting on the report. It was cool to see the structure of the accounts and stuff.

wmrocks,

Try not to freak out. I couldn't get in the first time I tried. There could be other reasons too...

Found this on the main page:

"ISIS Online is supported for use with Internet Explorer 5.0. If you cannot see the ISIS login screen please make sure you have an updated version of Internet Explorer (at least version 5.0). Other browser may work, but results may not be as reliable. If you choose to use Netscape you must use at least version 7.0 or some functions will not work.

Pop-Up-Blocker

Additionally, if you have a 'Pop-Up-Blocker' feature enabled on your browser, please disable the feature to view the ISIS login screen. In IE, add "virginia.edu" as an "address of web site to allow" pop-ups."

The VISTAA what-if function is pretty neat. It shows you all the courses you need to take. Once the transfer credits are imported, I'm sure that the VISTAA will reflect them (by listing fewer classes).

If I am accepted...which I'm not.

Something else that is interesting about the VISTAA what-if program... After generating the report, it lists some information that cannot be accessed in other sections of ISIS, such as residential address and initial term (should be 3, for fall).

"wmrocks, try resetting your password. If that fails, you could also try sending isis@virginia.edu an email to see if there is an acct for you."

I don't think you can reset your password until you've logged in using your original password (birthdate). I'm afraid to reset mine until I hear the official word. Should I go ahead and reset it anyway? I'm curious to see everything you guys are seeing.

I don't think it matters if you reset the password.

Well, when I log on, it says it is required that I change it before continuing for security reasons.

Right, I mean I think you can go ahead and change it.

Thanks christophsky!

wmrocks, any success with ISIS?

Javascript...I hate it...its not installed in my laptop so that's why it won't let me loggin...is that why?

These people are working hard. My ISIS FinAid screen changed. Earlier today it showed the docs rec'd, now it shows "We have not rec'd a request for financial aid..." This is kinda fun to watch. I hope they don't have a problem with any of this. You know, like the Harvard MBA hackers...

Stumper, thats what I was worried about...I havent even tried to log in...don't think I will

Yeah, I'm a little afraid too, but it's probably no big deal. If they didn't want us to be able to log on, they would have blocked it.

wmrocks, are you asking us or telling us that's why you can't access ISIS?

asking and assuming that that is why. I'm sooo lost about this whole thing...when i try to login, the screen doesn't say anything at all.

Are you at least able to go to the page for your ID and Password? Or, are are you having trouble bringing up the ISIS website to log-in?

Make sure to use Internet Explorer. Firefox has trouble with the login popup window.

oh like I get the sign in page is just when I try to login that's when ther are problems.

And you've installed the Java JDK or JRE?
