<p>I'm writing my supplement for the College of Arts and Science. It says it has to be approximately 250 words for each essay; however, one of my supplement essay exceeds 300 words... but it's as concise as I can get and I believe that my message does get across. </p>
<p>Should I still find a way to shorten it?</p>
<p>I already submitted my application, and my supplement essay is 301 words</p>
<p>As long as your essay flows well and can be read quickly, you’re probably fine. They just give you that number because they only have so much time to look over your application.</p>
<p>We aren’t counting words. However, if one of those short answer statements goes on for more than a page, it’ll be a little tedious to read. I imagine 300 words won’t go more than a page.</p>
