Does anyone know the average GPA for UVA transfers? I can find everything else on their site, but not GPAs. What about UVA-Engineering transfers?

Also, would they focus less on classes that are non-major related? I took a geology class (engineering major) and got a B, which obviously lowers my GPA because its a 3-credit class....would UVA look less at that and reconfigure my GPA for just my engineering classes?

hey,

i am applying to UVA - liberal arts chool

my current GPA is 3.7 but it will prob drop to 3.65... :(

im applying SEAS, hopefully 3.5 =/

The website sats B+ Average, but if you have 3.5+ you have a shot. 3.7-4.0 is what would really be to shoot for. 1 B will not considerbly hurt your chances.

3.5+ in state, higher if your OOS. School you come from is important. For engineering if yo're coming from a top school, 3.5 OOS might do it.

coming from VT, im in-state, female, 3.5

I am from NJ, and I goto an engineering school.

I am applying to UVA - CAS (liberal arts school)

3.7 currently, will prob drop to 3.65ish.
