<p>Does UVA send likely letters to Transfer students, or just First-Year applicants?</p>

<p>I don’t think any school does that for transfers. I could be wrong but that’s my guess.</p>
<p>I guess I received a likely letter from UVa yesterday. It says, “The Committee on Admission has reviewed your application and found it impressive…” Please verify.</p>
<p>redbreaker: for Transfer? I have to employ a certain amount of speculation if this is the case, as the decisions only began processing on the 2nd. </p>
<p>If for freshman admission, I’m relatively uncertain; I hadn’t known the existence of likely letters to begin with.</p>
<p>Im pretty sure its just for first year applicants. I have done some pretty extensive research into transferring to Uva and never heard anything about transfer likely letters.</p>
