UVa Transfer Orientation - So how'd everyone's go?

Mine was...well...practically non-existent....i checked in, didn't go to anything else Thursday, registered for classes, and checked out.

Did you all get all the classes you wanted? I got basically all of mine.

Psychobiology, Intro to Psych, Comparative Politics, Hindi, and Survival Bio!

Orientation was kinda of distant I felt...everyone was kinda of shy and kept to themselves the whole time. The activities were pretty boring...I got all my classes tho, PLCP 101, Math 231, Enwr 210, Econ 201

Yeah, orientation was fairly worthless. I did manage to pick up some more UVA apparel and hang out with some friends from high school though. I too got all my classes so far - French 102, Phil 151, Compsci 202, and Mdst110...

But man was signing up for them a pain. I hate orientations.

hey i'm in your plcp class

nahrafsfa, i was in contact with you a few weeks ago, but ur inbox was full, so i couldnt ask you more, could you just write down your courses from first year at vtech? you can just pm methat

we are in that PLCP class together, what's your major?

well...as of right now I'm chem..but I'm leaning towards a psych major...i have no chem courses this semester...but I'm in psychobiology and intro to psych soooo might as well go with that

I didn't meet any many people as I hoped... it seemed like most people didn't show up to a lot of thigns. But I did meet some people... went out and had a decent time that night. My scheduling was really easy as a COMM student, since I pretty much had no choice in what classes I took except for choosing sections.

yeah...i checked in, registered for classes, checked out

The rest of the time I chilled in the appt. or with some friends...most of it was really pointless though...like all those random seminars
