Uva transfer third year chances

chances to UVA third year?
So i was wondering what were my chances in getting into UVA as a third year transfer student?

in-sate student

Freshman year
College First and second semester GPA:
First : 3.5
Second : 2.3

Over all first year GPA : 3.0

Summer school GPA: 4.0
Over all first year + summer school 3.2

Sophomore
Third Semester 3.7

Over all GPA : 3.58

taken calc bio chem

With a 2.3, unless you were dying and are coming from Columbia or a school of that calibre, you won’t get in.

You would need to absolutely kill it next year to have a chance IMO.

I disagree. Your overall GPA is quite good. So if you keep up the good work you have a good chance.

Wait, have you already finished two years? Why do you have a sophomore GPA?

Look at the requirements for your major and take as many of those classes as possible. Do well in your sophomore year (or fifth semester if you’re applying for spring transfer) and you have an okay shot. I transferred twice. Once from VCU with a 1.9, and I just got into UVA from NVCC with a 3.6. They will look to see that you’re improving.
