UVA Transfer

To kevinli,
Congratulations! But, i just feel that University of Toronto is good enough to compare to UVA. Why did you choose to transfer? Toronto is one of the most famous University in Canada.

Just accepted McIntire over Cornell AEM!
See you guys at UVa.

lol, it’s just too cold here in Toronto…

I just found out today that the admission offer is contingent offer. Does this mean that they reserve the right to decline the offer if my GPA drops?

I got a cold during the exam period, and didn’t study much for the final; claim: not H1N1!!!
I’m pretty sure that my GPA will drop…sigh…

To kevinli:
Do not worry man, i think as long as your GPA don not drop significantly, you will be fine. the purpose of such an offer is to keep you continue studing hard for the rest of the semester, but, UVA will not kick you back to Canada, unless your GPA change dramatically. I still keep a high GPA this semester, but, unfortunately, i get rejected. Wish you all the best on your study at UVA.

do you think a student’s chance of sucessful transferring would be pretty slim, if he or she already transfered on time?

Is anyone else on the waitlist?

Yes, I still am. Hoping to hear something soon…

Got off the waitlist this weekend! I can’t describe how excited I am! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!

Sorry for replying so late- I just read this.

Congratulations UVAhopeful! I was really rooting for you =)
