UVA, UNC, University of Washington, I've got a question about sending extra material

<p>I am applying for transfer to a number of schools and was recently admitted to the University of Wisconsin. I'm extremely excited about it, but have also applied to unc, uva, and u. washington. I got a 3.4 my fist semester and a 3.5 from high school, so I know my chances at uva and unc are long at best. However I have heard of people sending special emails and/or letters expressing their added interest in attending...is it worth it? DOes anyone know if this could make a difference? </p>

<p>I mean what much more can you say that you haven’t already said in your transfer essays? Ive only heard of people sending additional documents in the case of a waitlist. In all honesty sending an additional email or something probably won’t do anything for you, but you can send one if you really want.</p>
