Recently I was admitted to both UVA and Georgia Tech to study engineering (undecided). I’m interested in computer science, aerospace and chemical engineering and I know Georgia Tech is ranked in the top 4 for all of those programs. However, I’m also a little nervous that at Georgia Tech, if I turn out to hate engineering as a degree I won’t really have as many good options as I would at UVA. I’m also a little concerned that Georgia Tech will have a little less of the mysterious, school spirit, cohesiveness that UVA has, but Georgia Tech would also be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. Does anyone have any opinions/experiences about either school that might aid me in making a choice?
