<p>Hey, let's just get into this... i'm not applying to harvard or princeton, just thought it would get your attention</p>

<p>Academic:
-3.76 unweighted GPA
-4.1 weighted
-most "rigorous" schedules...
AP World History (4) AP European History (4) AP US History (4) AP Calculus BC (5) AP Calculus AB (subscore, 5) AP French V (no exam yet)
-next year: Multivariable Calculus, AP Physics C, AP World Lit, AP French VI</p>

<p>Standardized Tests:
-670 CR, 780 M, 670 W
-1450/1600, 2110/2400 (first try, going to take again)
-SAT II Math II: 800
-plan on taking SAT II for physics </p>

<p>Awards/Honors:
-School award for outstanding achievement in math (awarded by calc teacher)
-Varsity letter/oustanding player award for golf team
-National Merit "Commended" Scholar
-2 years NHS
-County award for volunteer work
-2 1st place school science fairs, 2nd place regional
-Regional science fair award for statistics</p>

<p>Activities:
-4 years golf team
-Tutor in math at local elementary schools (about 30 hours of 1 on 1 help)
-Volunteer at hospital (4 hrs/week)
-NYLF Med program at Georgetown
-Participated in 2 week French exchange program
-manager of jv basketball team 2 years</p>

<p>Definitely going to get great recs from math and physics teachers... probably with a decent essay</p>

<p>Where do you live? If you live in the state of Virginia, I would say that you are a strong candidate. If you are outside of Virginia, then I think it’s a little more of a reach. I think you will get into Wake Forest, and that you have a good chance at the rest of your schools - of those, I would say Cornell and Georgetown are the biggest reaches, but college admissions can be so random that I could be completely wrong here. Either way, you have solid stats - the only thing I would recommend is maybe re-taking the SAT to get your scores slightly higher, since you’d be on the lower end for most applicants to these schools. Otherwise, good luck!</p>

<p>Georgetown, Cornell, and Vanderbilt are reaches.</p>

<p>WashU and UVA are matches, UVA a very comfortable match if you are in-state.</p>

<p>Wake Forest is a low match.</p>

Cornell, Vanderbilt - High matches, low reaches
Georgetown - I hear it’s very hard to get into for some reason at least from my state, so I’d say a regular reach… but definitely not impossible!
You have a chance at getting into all of these!</p>
