Really a tough choice for me.
Some ppl say UVA is nobrainer, but i think
other schools are great too.
I look for good schools that
1. have good reputation(namevalue)
2. alumni connection
3. good science department
4. guide me well to medical/dental graduate school

What school is the best?

UVa has good science department?

I dunno. waht else do other people think?

First, I’d like to know why others say U Virginia is a no-brainer. Are you in-state? If so, I’d probably agree with them. If not, then are there certain aspects of undergraduate life that you are looking for? Do you know where you’d like to live after college and/or grad school?

The reality is that all of these colleges have terrific reputations and each can get you where you want to go, med/dental school or otherwise. Furthermore, their alumni networks are all excellent and it’s rare you’ll meet graduates of any who didn’t absolutely love their undergraduate experience.

The one outlier here is Emory as the others are quite a bit larger and much, much social and athletic-life oriented. Each school has a lot to offer, but what are you looking for in your non-classroom experience?
