UVA vs Northeastern for Comp Sci?

I am a senior high school student and will soon have to make the decision between UVA and Northeastern for college. I plan to major in computer science. Northeastern has offered me $22k in scholarship money a year, but money is not my main determinant. I live out of state for both colleges.

I want to know how the two computer science programs stack up against one another. I know Northeastern has a great co-op program, and I was curious if that seems to “take away” from the college experience at all. Northeastern seems to be more pin-point focused on computer science, but in the US News rankings, uva ranks better.

I like UVA’s campus and weather much more and it seems to provide more of the “college experience”.

Any thoughts?

I have the exact same problem, except that I’m choosing between the Northeastern University Scholars Program (and a full tuition scholarship) against the Rodman Scholars Program (without any financial aid). I likewise need some advice :frowning:

@koolman887 @evariste Post this in the Northeastern forum. There are a couple of NU CS students who have been commenting there.
