UVA vs. Northwestern-which is harder?

<p>is UVA harder to get into than Northwestern for a person who is out of state?</p>

<p>That's kind of a toss up. I'd have to say that UVA will be a little more difficult just because it does have to admit a certain amount of in-state students. But if you're qualified enough to get into Northwestern, then your chances of getting into UVA should be pretty good.</p>

<p>Yep, they're about even. UVa's out-of-state admission rate is within one or two percentage points of northwestern's.</p>
