UVA vs NYU Stern?

I've narrowed my options down to UVA and Stern. I want to get into investment banking, and I know both schools have pretty nice business/finance programs. Could anyone give me advice on which to pick? Here's my list of pros/cons:

NYU:
Pros- It's in NYC, so nice internship opportunities plus the city itself is amazing, very intensive business education, excellent recruiting
Cons- NO CAMPUS, maybe a lack of a liberal arts education, cut-throat due to the Stern curve, maybe the quality of life is worse

UVA:
Pros- Beautiful campus, McIntire has good recruitment from what I've heard, departments outside of business are really good too, good social life
Cons- Maybe not as prestigious, resulting in less job opportunities than Stern, you don't learn your business specialization until your 4th year meaning you may not know enough for summer analyst positions, 15,000 students (and I've heard stuff about a preppy vibe).

Similar thread, might answer some of your questions.

UVA not as prestigious as NYU? LOL, what world do you live in? McIntire is if anything better than Stern and just as, if not more well represented on Wall Street. No offense, but people think of NYU as the celebrity school (the Olsen Twins). Stern is excellent though, but I don’t know if I would say it’s more prestigious than McIntire.

Yea, they may he “so nice internship opportunities,” but EVERY SINGLE student at Stern is aiming for them. At UVA, not every McIntire student is looking to go into IB, but at Stern that is the case. Everyone is your competition.
