This may seem like a silly question so sorry off the bat haha. I’m an aspiring rocket scientist/astronaut from NJ. I haven’t heard back from most of my schools like Duke, Cornell, Vanderbilt, USC, or WUSTL, and will probably not make a decision until I do. As of right now, I have a full ride offer to Rutgers for business (honors college), it would cost me 7k a year to study physics there (honors college), and 15k a year for engineering there (honors program). For UVA it would cost about 13k a year to study aerospace engineering. I have around 17k in a 529 but I’m paying for the rest of college myself. I’m really tempted to just study physics and take aerospace classes on the side so I graduate with little debt but I don’t know if this is really feasible. Any advice would be great
Check how difficult it would be to declare or change to your desired majors at each school.
