Michigan and UVa have much in common. They are both large elite public with very diverse academic offerings located in very pleasant college towns. Their business schools are roughly equal in size (350 students per graduating class, which works out to ~ 5% of their respective total undergraduate student populations), quality, reputation and structure. Both Business programs usually admit most of their students only once they have completed at least one year at the university, so there are no guarantees. Michigan has started to admit some students straight out of high school, but the odds of getting into Ross this way are not good. The main difference between the two programs is that Ross is a three year program while McIntire is a two year program.

Babson is a completely different type of institution. It is private, small (although the Business programs at Michigan and UVa are smaller than Babson’s), 100% Business majors and located in a big city.

If your goal it to start your own business when you graduate, Babson may be a good option. If you intend to work in a corporate setting first, I think Michigan or UVa are better options, assuming you are confident that you will be able to get into their Business programs.
