UVA vs. UNC vs. Davidson

I have been accepted at all three and am trying to decide which to attend. I want to major in political science or economics with a concentration on public policy. I do not want to be just a number and want my professors to be concerned about teaching. Any pointers?

Will you be getting any AP credits in your major from high school, allowing you to skip entry level, because if you don’t, you will be a number in the intro to IR courses and government courses at UVa early on. It gets better as you go on, but the first year, you can be pretty anonymous, unless you really put yourself out there. By third and fourth year, you’ll have the chance to really get to know some professors and have access to internships and on-campus interviews in your field, etc.

You probably wouldn’t have that problem at Davidson because of its size.

I will be getting AP credits in Government, U.S. History, European History, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics. Did I miss any related subjects?

What are the strengths of UVA’s programs in political science and economics versus the other two?
