<p>How do the people in VA area think about these two schools? Considering their undergraduate programs (W&L vs. the college of Art & Science of UVA) which one usually has a better job (or graduate school) placement?</p>

<p>I got into W&L too (15% admit rate this year... crazy!!!!!!) but I'm not even considering going there over UVA. Their greek life is crazy (if you are super into that, then I suppose that is a plus) and they are tiny. As much as I love Lexington (I really do... I have a cabin there I go down to all the time with my family) I'd rather be somewhere a little more vibrant.
In terms of grad school / job placement, I think UVA beats them out.</p>

What kinds of students usually go to W&L? 15% admit rate sounds really crazy, it will place W&L among the few most selective schools nationwide. But as far as I know W&L is not really well known outside VA, Any comments?</p>
